Michele Jee

Director of Global Research
Michele Jee is the Director of Global Brand Research of BAC. Michele leads a team in managing the execution of the Brand Asset Valuator, in the US and global markets. Michele is also responsible for all aspects of customized research for BAV consulting clients including online and mail methodologies to various segment of consumer and b2b segments. Michele also oversees the design and execution of research fielded to BAC’s proprietary US consumer research panel of 16,000 respondents. In 1998, Michele received an MBA from the Stern School of Business of New York University of New York where Michele co-majored in International Business/Marketing and Business Management.

Prior to joining Y&R, Michele was the manager of Market Research at Reed Elsevier’s trade show management company, Reed Exhibition Companies. At Reed, Michele conducted industry analyses through primary and secondary research. In addition, she assisted sales staff and industry vice presidents in the design and presentation of pitches to prospective sponsors. Prior to joining Reed, Michele was an analyst with RKS Research and Consulting, which is a niche market research based consulting firm specializing in utility deregulation and customer satisfaction. Michele planned and oversaw customized market research studies from which she formulated recommendations addressing clients’ specific business issues.

Michele’s career began at Greenwich Associates a consulting firm specializing in the financial services and banking industries. It was at GA that Michele led a team of research associates through the planning, production and delivery of a series of market studies on the United States domestic bond markets. Michele served as the liaison between clients, which included leading banks and investment banks, and the internal operations of the firm.

Michele graduated from the University of Connecticut’s Honors Program with an MS in Finance and a minor in art history. Michele’s career in market research based consulting began as a college intern at Evaluative Criteria Incorporated, a custom research supplier which specializes in consumer packaged goods. It was at ECI that Michele was introduced to all aspects of the marketing research business, from questionnaire writing to client presentations. Michele also interned at Information Resources where she supervised data collection and processing for surveys and conducted personal and market research interviews.
