Born and raised in Manhattan, Allie Sommer joined the BAV team in January 2017 after finishing her Masters of Science in Advertising at Boston University College of Communication. Previously, Allie majored in psychology at the University of Rochester and her consumer behavior classes there and at the Danish Institute of Study Abroad in Copenhagen, sparked her interest in the dynamic between the psyche and branding. At BU, she developed her passion for market research and the world of advertising. Allie loves sampling design and analyzing data to create stories that solve client problems; it satisfies both her analytical and creative sides. Allie has practiced these skills in her past internships at both Hill Holliday and Publicis North America.
Outside of work, Allie loves bingeing TV (all genres) and going to the movies. She enjoys cooking and crafting along with visiting museums and art galleries. Studio arts are an outlet for her, including printmaking and bookmaking. Allie is also an aspiring foodie. Check out her Instagram: @AlliehSommer.
